Wyoming and Idaho are well known for their natural geothermal hot springs. If you are staying here at our Alpine Valley Resort you are in close distance to several beautiful hot springs!
Astoria Hot Springs is about 20 minutes north of Alpine, just across the red bridge near the Snake River Sporting Club. Opening just last year, Astoria is a brand new day use park with multiple pools for soaking and soothing. They have a beautiful facility along with picnic table and lounge chairs. We recommend an early morning soak to start your day!
If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, Granite Hot Springs is a beautiful hours drive from us. Granite Hot Springs sits atop of Granite Falls and is near a couple of hiking trails. It’s worth the hours drive when you get to soak with a view!
Lastly, Lava Hot Springs is in Lava Hot Springs Idaho, about an hour and a half drive from Alpine. It’s sits near the center of town and has several large soaking pools. The hot springs is the main attraction for this town, but there are also several cute restaurants and shops. The drive from Alpine is beautiful and allows for several small town stops along the way.
As the temperatures start to cool off the hot springs will be a must!
