4th of July in Alpine
Alpine Valley RV Resort is the perfect destination to celebrate the 4th of July on your road trip out West. Located in the center of a hub of outdoor activities, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and already rigged with accessories to celebrate the day, AVRV is sure to make this 4th of July one to remember.
Sleep in (after enjoying the previous night’s firework show) and grab a patriotic breakfast at the Yankee Doodle Cafe, Alpine’s all-american cafe cooking up America’s favorite flavors. Yankee Doodle has been a staple to locals for a long time, and for a good reason, their breakfast is comforting and delicious. Try Gary’s Omelette, a combination of Italian sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese and marinara, or Doodle’s Revenge, their version of huevos rancheros.
After enjoying a slow morning, hop on the free shuttle at Alpine Valley RV Resort and head to the river for an adrenaline pumping whitewater rafting experience down the Snake River with our sister company, Dave Hansen Whitewater. Be sure to book this trip in advance, as the 4th of July is one of their busiest days. If you’re looking for something a little calmer, borrow a paddle board from our front office and take it to Palisades Reservoir to cool off, paddle and float under the hot summer sun.
After spending the day on the water, settle back into your campsite and use our provided grill to cook up a traditional 4th of July feast. Don’t forget about the marshmallows!
At 7pm, the town of Alpine has a small parade within walking distance of our resort. After the parade, walk home and relax at your site to view Alpine’s favorite firework show over the river. If you’re in one of our deluxe back-in sites, you will have a front row seat to the show!
